Hitman Episode 5 Gets a Release Date

Agent 47 is hitting up Colorado.

Io Interactive has announced that Episode 5 of Hitman will be set in Colorado, and will be released on September 27.

We knew previously this episode would be set in the USA, and now we know it will take place on a Colorado farm compound which has been converted into a private militia training camp. Plus, Agent 47 will have to take out four targets.

“Sean Rose, Maya Parvati, Ezra Berg and Penelope Graves are four very different, very dangerous people, each with their own specialist skillset ranging from environmental terrorism to chemical interrogation,” says the episode’s description.

The mission is titled Freedom Fighters, and according to studio head Hannes Seifert, “from the moment you set foot in Colorado you’re on enemy ground.” Freedom Fighers will “add serious momentum to the story, and set up an intriguing season finale for players.”

The final episode in the first season of Hitman will be set in Japan, and is scheduled for release later this year. So far, the season has traveled to Paris, Sapienza, Marrakesh, and Bangkok. Io says it has been thinking about possibly doing an additional two seasons.

A physical edition of Hitman is coming early next year, and will contain each of the missions plus all the previously released challenges, opportunities and escalation contracts.
